Sustainability has been at the heart of Ravago since the company was founded and began recycling plastic production waste over 60 years ago. While plastic recycling still remains an important part of what we do, our sustainability activities have evolved to include many other aspects as we strive to reach a balance between the environment, people, and our business.
Our sustainability activities are defined by 3 pillars: Sustainable Solutions, Responsible Operations, and Empowered People.

Sustainable Solutions
Providing sustainable products is an integral part of what Ravago Manufacturing does. We produce an extensive range of recycled plastic compounds across Europe to provide our customers with solutions to make their products more sustainable. We also offer a range of bio-based and compostable plastics for selected applications where this is a more suitable choice.
We continue to strive for recycling excellence by investing in our manufacturing capabilities, developing our expertise and supporting our customers in reaching their sustainability goals.
Responsible Operations
We endeavor to minimize our environmental impact at each of our manufacturing sites and warehouses by implementing a range of decarbonization projects such as energy saving, transitioning to renewable energy sources and optimizing our distribution network.
Business integrity is also a key aspect of how we acting responsibility. We select and work with partners who operate in line with our own ethical standards.
The health and safety of our people and the environments that they work in is incredibly important. That’s why we work hard every day to maintain and improve our safety culture together with our personnel.
Empowered People
People are at the center of what makes Ravago who we are. This encompasses both our employees, but also the people in the communities in which we operate.
We invest in our people through training and development, continuous engagement and fostering a diverse and inclusive working environment.
Giving back to our communities is an inherent part of life at Ravago. Through activities such as giving time to environmental and social projects, and fundraising for causes close to our hearts, we act to be at the heart of our communities.
